      • When advertising the half price apps on television, they use mood lighting and young, hip-looking actors
  • Applebee’s looks to market itself as a safe, family-friendly, “neighborhood” establishment
    • That’s why on the building it says “Neighborhood Grill & Bar”
    • Old slogan: “Eating good in the neighborhood.”
  • Utilize technology to enhance the dining experience
    • By the end of 2014 Applebee’s announced that they will place a 7 inch tablet at each table where you can, pay your bill at anytime, order food and even play video games.

    • Will have big games on whenever they are being televised and every local game
    • Example: Every sunday the TV’s surrounding the whole restaurant are showing many different football games
